LIVESTREAM ARCHITECTURE IN THE NETHERLANDS YEARBOOK 2019 / 2020 BOOK LAUNCH

For over 30 years Architecture in the Netherlands has provided an indispensable overview of Dutch architecture for everyone with a professional or more general interest in the subject.

This years' edition is no exception with the 33rd edition ready to be published. The three editors, Kirsten Hannema, Arna Mackic and Teun van den Ende, select special projects that have been completed in the preceding year and describe the most important developments that influence Dutch architecture. Including an essay by Adeola Enigbokan. 

We would like to invite you for the release and festive presentation of Architecture in the Netherlands Yearbook 2019/2020 on September 21st. Join! Get your ticket. Due to the current situation concerning the Corona virus, we have decided to postpone the release from May to September. We are looking forward to the start of the Architecture in the Netherlands programme!

My Friend, the architect - What resources do architects (re)discover in building inclusive communities, homes and neighborhoods? In this season of Architecture Now, we examine the role of architects and urban planners in a changing society. This first edition under the name My friend, the architect; inspired by the essay of Adeola Enigbokan, "Citizen-Architect-Friend," published in Yearbook of Architecture in the Netherlands 2019/2020. The focus is not so much on the end product, the building, but on the manufacturing process in all its facets.

Join us for the official and festive booklaunch of Architecture in the Netherlands Yearbook 2019 / 2020.  In this edition, the editors - Teun van den Ende, Kirsten Hannema and Arna Mackic - focus on the Dutch housing market and on the issues of accesibility, connectedness and inclusivity in architecture. With a guest essay on the role of the architect by Adeola Enigbokan. In collaboration with AIR Rotterdam.
