In memoriam: Adri Duivesteijn

On Friday, March 17th, former director of the Netherlands Architecture Institute and PvdA politician (1950-2023) passed away.

nai010 publishers commemorates Duivesteijn, born and raised in The Hague’s Schilderswijk neighborhood, as a tireless fighter for architectural quality and a livable city. As director of the Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAi), he stood at the cradle of NAi publishers, to which he also contributed as an author. Even later, his interest in publishing about architecture, city making and spatial quality kept him connected with the publishing house. nai010 publishers commemorates a passionate politician, an extraordinary human being and his important contribution to the world of architecture and politics.
