The latest OASE issue

Prominent authors describe how modern architects like Fernand Pouillon, Kay Fisker, Fernando Tavora and Giovanni Muzio were busy with the language of architecture and its recent and classical history. The study of projects is preceded by an article by Vittorio Magnago Lampugnani, who problematises the notion of novelty within contemporary architectural culture. The architects of the shadow canon form a step toward a critical reflection on the role of historic codes and everyday conventions in contemporary design practice.
