Dash 14

Presentation - DASH 14: from home to home. Radical Housing Transformation.

AIR, DASH, NAi010 and NAi Booksellers present the 14th edition of DASH magazine: From Dwelling to Dwelling  Central are transformations from residential buildings to high-quality contemporary homes. The publication places housing transformation in a cultural-historical, social and typological perspective and illustrates these perspectives with contemporary and historical projects.

The program, #3 in the series ‘Over wonen gesproken , follows this logic by starting with an introductory lecture by DASH editor Harald Mooij. Moderator Bas van der Pol (AIR) then will be in conversation with Gert Jan te Velde (Van Schagen Architects), Joris Molenaar (Molenaar & Co), Edward van Dongen (Era Contour), Miriam van Lierop (Municipality of Rotterdam) and residents on the quality of living and the transformation process of the Klarenstraat (Amsterdam), the Justus van Effen and Een Blok Stad (Rotterdam) respectively. In conclusion, we reflect with these parties and speakers on the opportunities and the complexity of housing transformation for the Rotterdam project.
