Book, Facsimile and C-Print
Geert Lap: Specific Objects, with photographs by Erik and Petra Hesmerg, is a delightful overview of the fabulous oeuvre of one of the most important post-war ceramic artists in the world. The book features a vast biographic essay by Titus M. Eliëns, who was granted exclusive access into the artist’s archive, and contributions by Ernst van Alphen and Jac Geurts.

The Special Edition of Geert Lap Specific Objects includes a customized hardcover book with special endpapers matching the 'Baby Nail' pink slipcase. The set also includes a facsimile of a beautifully colored sketch for the never executed Inside series, dating from around 1988. Adding to this unique document is a high quality C-print (ca. 23 x 29 cm) of a ‘Baby Nail’ pink bowl (1984) from the collection of Design Museum Den Bosch, photographed and signed by Erik and Petra Hesmerg. A maximum of 250 copies will be produced, each with a unique number.
