Best Dutch Book Designs 2025

The annual designers party has begun: the announcement of the Best Dutch Book Designs! On Friday, February 27th, the 2025 selection was published, including two titles by nai010! Both Interwoven Histories and Invented from Copies were selected for their extraordinary design.

Every year, the jury selects 33 books based on their distinctiveness in terms of content, design, lithography, typography, material, printing and binding. The expert jury of the Best Dutch Book Designs 2025 consists of Anniek Meinders (Head Publications Van Gogh Museum), Serana Angelista (designer, artist), Arthur Herrman (designer), Jochem Öfner (management printer RaddraaierSSP) and Kylièn Bergh (researcher and practitioner in the field of graphic design). In addition, a student jury was also formed by Anne-Sophie Berting (ArtEZ), Junghyeok Park (KABK), Sasha Tielbeke (HKU), Tetiana Tishkevych (Minerva), Loren Xu (Rietveld) and Oskar van Zadelhoff (Zuyd).

The Global Turn was also awarded, specifically by the student jury.
