From Off to On

This first monograph on Philip Vermeulen, a key voice in the Dutch art scene today, presents an extensive overview of his immersive practice. His hypersculptures – kinetic installations combining light, sound, movement and vibration – operate at the limits of perception, producing sensory environments that are both disorienting and captivating.

The book situates Vermeulen’s work within a lineage that extends from ZERO and Op Art to contemporary experiential art.
