An indispensable overview of Dutch architecture

‘International showcase for Dutch architecture’ — de Volkskrant
‘Touchstone for good architecture’ — NRC Handelsblad

For 25 years the Architecture in the Netherlands yearbook has been the international showcase for Dutch architecture. Last year a double-sized anniversary edition was published, receiving copious and laudatory attention in the press. For the 26th edition, to be published in April 2013, a new editorial team makes its debut, consisting of Tom Avermaete (associate professor of architecture, Delft University of Technology), Hans van der Heijden (architect), Edwin Oostmeijer (freelance project developer) and Linda Vlassenrood (curator, architecture critic and programme director of the International New Town Institute).
As usual, the new editors select the 30 most noteworthy projects completed in the past year and describe the most significant developments and trends influencing the production and design of Dutch architecture. This edition also includes an overview of the most important awards, competitions, exhibitions and publications of the past year. For a quarter century now, Architecture in the Netherlands has been an indispensable retrospective publication for anyone interested or professionally involved in Dutch architecture.
