Architecture in the Netherlands has been an indispensable retrospective and source of inspiration for anyone interested or professionally involved in Dutch architecture since 1988. Every year, a trio of editors present in this publication a review of the past year of architecture in the form of essays, as well as a selection of sensational projects that reflect the state of the profession.
Currently, the new editors have already started preparations for the 2025 / 2026 edition. Should your project not be missing from this list? Submit your project before Thursday 11 September!
For the project section of the yearbook, we are calling for submissions of information on projects that have been completed during 2025 or will be completed before the end of this year. If a project is not yet completed at the time of submission, this does not pose a problem for the editors.
Initial selection is made on the basis of submitted project documentation. To promote efficiency, we would like to receive all information digitally. This can be done via the submission form. Does it not work for whatever reason to submit the information via the fill-in form? Please contact the publisher at info@nai010.com.
We would like to receive one form per project. Submitting multiple projects is possible, but please submit one project at a time.
> Submit the project information digitally only via the form, which can be done before 11 September 2025
> Submit the information per project
> Attach 1 PDF file of maximum 10 A4 pages with a maximum size of 10 MB to support the submission
> The naming of the PDF should be as follows: Name agency_Name project.pdf. For example: Cepezed_Villa in Rotterdam.pdf
> Of the 10 pages, the document contains at least 5 pages of images, renderings or photos
> Supplemented with floor plans, cross-sections and a short description
If your project is chosen after selection, you will be contacted separately to request high-resolution images for publication. For now, this does not matter. But the following applies to the selected projects:
> The image material submitted must be user-right-free to be used by nai010 publishers for the 39th Architecture in the Netherlands Yearbook (book, e-book and website). Arranging image rights with the photographer/photographers is the responsibility of the selected architectural firms.
> The image material supplied and arranging usage rights is with the photographer’s consent.
> The image material must be supplied with author attribution (photographer’s name) and must be suitable for printing (300 dpi, tiff file).
The entrant pays € 105.- including VAT for each project submitted. The yearbook is made possible by this contribution per submitted project. With the entry fee, Stichting nai010 uitgevers can put independent editors to work selecting the projects in text and image. This way, it is possible for the publisher to maintain and further develop the bilingual yearbook (NL/ENG) as an important instrument within the architectural discourse.
Payment details are included in the form. Do not forget to add the name of the firm and the project in the description. An entry is valid only after payment.
We would like to receive all information before 11 September 2025. After submitting your project via the Google Forms, you will automatically receive an acknowledgement via email. After the 11 September deadline, we will start the administration and you can expect the invoice for payment.
Are you having trouble filling out the form? Send an email to info@nai010.com
