The Circular Community Foundation will be represented in New York this week! Els Leclerq and Fátima Delgado Medina, authors of Circular Communities, are participating in the NGO Committee on the Status of Women conference. During the presentation, they will present the theory of the Circular Value Flower and the stories of circular and regenerative entrepreneurship around the world.

There will be a workshop at CSW70: Women Weaving Regenerative Entrepeneurial Futures: Collective Power, Justice & Community-Led Regeneration. The question will be asked: What if the most transformative solutions to climate and social crises are already being practiced by communities, and especially by women, around the world?

For more information, see the LinkedIn post of Circular Community Foundation.
It is also possible to join online via Zoom.

About Circular Communities

Circular Communities explores culturally diverse, community-led approaches to circular resource stewardship around the world. These practices demonstrate how communities worldwide collectively generate multiple values – ecological, cultural, social, aesthetic and financial – by closing resource loops.

In their new book, urban designer Els Leclercq and architect Mo Smit expand on their Circular Value Flower, a value-based model designed to initiate and guide circular and regenerative initiatives. It enables a holistic approach, linking communities with the wider eco-system of stakeholders, enablers, resources, policy and spatial context.

Essential for communities, citizens, spatial designers and policymakers, this book supports initiatives to grow, connect and form networks of action, fostering flourishing circular communities worldwide.
