The time has finally come: on February 7, after being closed for almost two years, the Nederlands Fotomuseum will reopen. The Museum has moved to the monumental Santos Warehouse in Rotterdam, heralding a new era.
The opening exhibition is a journey through the photographic imagination of Rotterdam’s urban landscape. With over 300 photographs, by both professional and novice photographers, Rotterdam in focus shows the development of 180 years of photography. From 1843 to present day. The photographers of the exhibition encourage you to see in new ways, to pay attention to detail – and to also take pictures yourself.
Coinciding with the opening of the exhibition, a publication of the same name will be published by nai010.
