OASE 122 explores how architecture education can change in response to the climate crisis. Conventional architecture education teaches largely through abstractions. Within an imaginary scenario, students develop their skills as designers. But from an ecological perspective, an isolated position like this is no longer tenable. How can we bring reality into our educational institutions?
Or, conversely, how do we bring education to the rapidly changing outside world? To answer these questions, OASE 122 examines both the content of education and the appropriate settings and methods to embed it in the ecological zeitgeist.
