Gebouwen door Vrouwen and nai010 publishers are hosting a festive afternoon at the Central Library to celebrate the launch of Buildings by Women: Rotterdam, a city guide featuring 50 projects in Rotterdam designed by women. From icons like De Rotterdam, the Kop van Zuid, and the ‘hunkerbunker’ RVS building to surprising hidden gems — this guide celebrates the work of female designers and makes their contributions to the city visible in an accessible and inspiring way.
During the event, the creators will share the story behind this special publication. On June 7, the accompanying exhibition will also open, highlighting eight Rotterdam buildings, including the Kruisplein apartment building, Pakhuis Santos, and the Zonnetrap.
