During this evening, we will discuss the importance of cooperative initiatives and how to make them successful. After an introduction by Darinka Czischke (Together: Towards Collaborative Living) and Stephanie Zeulevoet (BUUR[N]), we will address these issues in two panel discussions.
We see various cooperatives emerging in many cities. From Rotterdams Woongenootschap to De Warren, but also more and more energy cooperatives and welfare cooperatives. Some co-ops get off the ground more easily than others: a different recipe for success seems to be needed for each initiative. The mix of funding, regulation, community and design is always slightly different.
